Name/TitleVaccination required to enter baby store, Hampton
About this objectMelbourne’s sixth and final COVID-19 lockdown ended on 21 October 2021. Retailers were able to reopen the following day, although non-essential retail could only open for outdoor service for the first week.
All retail staff had to be fully vaccinated to work but, initially, there was no restriction on patrons. The rules tightened from 19 November 2021, at which point only those who were fully vaccinated could enter non-essential retail stores.
In the interim period, some retailers introduced their own vaccination policies. One such was Augie & May, baby shop in Hampton. The photo shows the explanatory sign they displayed to notify customers.
